Childrens Church

Children learn by doing and experiencing, and we encourage families to worship together. Special worship pockets are located just outside the sanctuary doors. Each child is invited to claim one for his/her very own. These pockets contain items to help enhance your child’s worship experience and understanding and are appropriate for ages 3 to 10.

We also offer “Kid’s Corner,” a special time during the 11:00 worship service.

We all know children learn by doing, and that means feeling included in our full worshipping body. We also recognize that a sermon geared for adult issues doesn’t always have deep meaning for our very young children.

Children ages 3 through 1st grade are invited to attend Kid’s Corner on the 2nd-5th Sundays of the month.

The first Sunday of the month, children stay in worship so that families may share Holy Communion together.

During the hymn just before the sermon, children may choose to move to room 201 for Kid’s Corner. Together, with caring adults, they will experience the theme of the day’s sermon in kid-friendly ways including music, storytime, a special activity, and prayer.

Families pick up their children from room 201 when worship has concluded.
