SISTERS: Bible Study for Women

  • The Monday group meets from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in room 102. Currently, we're studying Breaking the Code: The Book of Revelation. Whenever natural disasters strike, it seems the question of the "end of times" creeps up. Much of the questioning comes from snippets taken from the book of Revelation - one of the most confusing books of the Bible. Together, we'll take a nine-week look at the last book of the Bible and unpack its symbolism. Led by Debbie Irving, we'll discover how the historical context of the author plays a key role in unlocking the symbols, images, and ultimate message of Revelation. Materials fee is $9.00.
  • NEW! Thursday Sisters Studies  This year, we’re trying something new! We’ll study a series of diverse topics and you’re welcome to join at any time. All materials are provided and there is no materials fee. Here’s the lineup:
  • The Bible & Racism: Part 2  (Feb 18)
  • Family Spirituality: Part 1  (Feb 25)
  • Family Spirituality: Part 2  (March 4)

All women are invited to participate in our Thursday Sisters Bible Study. Led by Linda Stewart, we meet each Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in room 218.

NEW Study  Begins Tuesday, February 23

"Exploring Prayer" is a 6-week study that will take us on a journey through the earliest Biblical prayers and end with the most current methods of prayer. While we’ll be digging deeply into Scripture and early Christian history, we’ll also allow plenty of time to practice each type of prayer we explore. We’ll conclude with a group trip to a local prayer labyrinth. This group will meet each Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in room 218. Everyone is welcome!
