The Committee consists of nine professing members, the Lay Leader and a Lay Delegate to Annual Conference. Pastors are to be present at each meeting unless they voluntarily excuse themselves. This committee meets the second Monday of each month.

The Staff Parish Committee cooperates with the District Superintendent and the Bishop in securing clergy leadership. In addition, they consult with the pastoral staff regarding the presentation of an effective ministry. Annually the Committee is responsible for pastoral evaluations which are the basis for compensation recommendations to the Finance Committee and Administrative Council. A charge/or church conference is required for final approval.

The Committee reviews current and future requirements for non-clergy staff positions and reports same to the Administrative Council for approval. Staff Parish assists other committees in recruiting, selecting, timely evaluations, and compensations adjustments for these non-clergy positions.
