The Need for Ministry

Whether you need to know more in-depth information about a particular subject, perhaps your looking for an Adult Sunday school class, or maybe you'd like to share your musical talents with your voice in one of our choirs or perhaps be a part of our monthly Praise Team, Concord Trinity has a ministerial program for everybody.

If Evangelism is the core mission of the church, discipleship is its necessary corollary. When Jesus gave us the great commission in the waning chapters of Matthew's Gospel, he instructed us to go and baptize; but more than that he taught us to bring his kingdom teaching to all the world.

Ministering to others is a priority for us. Jesus Christ commanded us as the church to do the very works He did (John 14:12). We seek to do that by reaching out to those who are in need or are hurting. This "ministry" was not meant for a few professionals. Jesus meant for every Christian, from the first day he is born again, to be involved with ministering to others. Therefore, we encourage all those who are able to begin participating in the different ministry opportunities we have.

Being part of the Ministry of Christ, isn't just for those in the pulpit, nor is it really an option for Christs followers. The Ministry of Faith involves all of God's children ... including you!

In order for people to become effective in ministering to others, they need to be trained. We offer various training classes, conferences, and seminars throughout the year for training in different areas of service.
