Concord Trinity Music Ministries

Worship as God desires it brings us into His presence. When we worship, we experience Him in communion with us. Music, is an important spiritual "centering" tool that God has blessed us with.

In I Chronicles 16 we see that God calls specific people to lead, play and sing in choirs on behalf of all the brethren.

II Chronicles 5 details how the true ministry of music can make God’s presence known in a powerful way. It says that the singers and instrumental musicians played with thanksgiving and praise to the Lord. The glory of the Lord filled the house. It was so great that the priests could not even stand to minister.

Music is one of God’s means to make known to us the manifestation of the Glory of God and of His Son, Jesus Christ.

The Chancel Choir is a very active and important group in the music ministry of Concord Trinity. This group practices on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Childcare is provided for rehearsals. They sing every Sunday morning for the 9:30 and 11:00 services. The Chancel Choir also provides special music at various times throughout the year. All willing and dedicated persons are invited to join the choir.

The Jubilee Ringers handbell choir provides an opportunity for adults of varying ages and backgrounds to contribute their gift of music using these unique instruments. The goal of the ensemble is to learn to use music as a vehicle for expression of our devotion to God. This choir plays once each month for the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 p.m. There are five octaves of bells and three octaves of choir chimes. This choir is an excellent way to meet people and participate in a joy-filled ministry!

This music team leads contemporary Christian songs in the monthly praise service. This service offers a casual atmosphere on the second Sunday of each month at 5:00 p.m., (dates and times may change). Rehearsals are on Thursdays, 7:30 – 9:00 p.m.
