Our Responsibility

To offer the congregation opportunities to respond to God's redeeming love for the world by participating in God's Action in the world.


Our Program

Makes clear to the congregation the calling of the church as the People of God.

Offers the congregation the opportunity to contribute offerings of their time, presence, treasure, and prayers.

Advocates programs that train men, women, and children for Christian discipleship and servant leadership in meeting the needs of the poor and marginalized and in working for social justice.


Through Our Leadership The Congregation

Provides immediate relief of acute human need.
Responds to the suffering of persons which is caused by natural, ecological and civil disaster, as well as political turmoil.
Works cooperatively with others in the identification of, advocacy for, and assistance with ministries relating to hunger and poverty, refugees and disaster response.
Works cooperatively with others in the promotion of six special Sundays, including:

  • Great Hour of Sharing
  • Human Relations Day
  • World Communion Sunday
  • Native American Ministries Sunday
  • United Methodist Student Sunday
  • Peace with Justice Sunday


Sponsored Events

Monthly in-kind giving programs.
Quarterly programs highlighting particular needs.

The Missions Committee is active in keeping the congregation aware of the needs of our community and our world, and brings forth programs to address these needs. The committee conducts fund-raisers, solicits donations of food and clothing, and sponsors an annual church-wide garage sale to raise money for charity.
