Upward Sports provides a fun sports experience based on healthy competition. Upward Basketball and Cheerleading teaches Christian values and basketball and cheerleading fundamentals.

Completed Form and registration fee may be brought to the church office from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
The early registration cost per child for basketball is $55; after January 13, the cost is $65.

The early registration cost per child for cheerleading is $58; after January 13, the cost is $68.

Deadline for registration is January 21.

EVALUATIONS AND ORIENTATIONS:
The main purpose of evaluations is to gather information on each player in order to create equal teams and to gather accurate sizing information.

Evaluations/orientations will take place at the Concord Trinity UMC Gymnasium. Check-in is in the welcoming area just through the church doors, and right next to the gym.

The following times are available:

K5 through 6th Grade Boys/Girls
Tuesday, January 17 between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Friday, January 20, between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, January 21, between 8:00 a.m and 1:00 p.m.

Please find an evaluation time that works for your family. You may come in anytime during the evaluations times shown. For example, 7:30 p.m on Tuesday, Jan 17th may work best for one family, while 12:00 pm on Saturday might work best for another family. A range of times have been given for your convenience.

Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation.

AWARDS CELEBRATION:
The awards celebration is a time to celebrate the completion of the season and for the children to look back at their accomplishments. Each child will receive an Upward Sports end of season award.

LEAGUE SCHEDULE:
There is one practice a week either on Tuesday or on Friday and there is one game per week played on Saturday. However, we will practice for two weeks prior to starting games.

Practices Begin – Tuesday, February 21 or Friday, February 24th
No Practice or Game Feb 28th—Mar 3rd
First Game – Saturday, March 17, 2012
Awards Celebration – Monday, May 7, 2012
