Adult Sunday Morning Small Groups
Each day offers us a new opportunity to deepen our walk with Christ. The adult small group ministries at Concord Trinity are designed to help adults of all ages form connections of friendship and fellowship with each other as they grow in their relationship with God. Christian LivingAdults from 40 something to 60 something engage in open-minded discussions on the difficult questions of faith and the practice of Christianity. Currently, we are using FaithLinks, a weekly Methodist curriculum that examines current news stories and their implications on our faith. Widely varying points of view are shared in a trusting and caring environment. Room 119.
Contemporary ChristiansDo you enjoy discussion? Do you enjoy sharing opinions and ideas? This class is for you. The various materials we use challenge each of us to confirm that Christianity is not a spectator sport. Warm fellowship encourages an open forum for anyone seeking a closer relationship to the church and our responsibility to develop that relationship. Room 118.
Journey's ClassThis brand new class meets Sunday mornings from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Our first study takes an in-depth look at the Gospel of Luke – where some of our most beloved stories of Jesus are found. No previous Bible knowledge is assumed and a participant study book is provided. We will move slowly and allow plenty of time for study & discussion of these stories, the author, the community of Luke, and how the stories apply to us today. Room: Library.
Short Term ClassesThroughout the year, we offer a variety of short-term classes geared for adults. These classes range from 1-week to 8-week sessions and are led by our Director of Christian Education. Wide ranges of topics are offered, including Bible studies, classes on prayer, selecting a Bible to fit your needs, and spiritual/faith development classes. These short-term offerings are a great way to meet new people and explore a topic that interests you. Registration is usually requested. Keep an eye on the newsletter and bulletin for current offerings. Room 218.
