Sunday SchoolSunday School is held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. each Sunday.During the school year, we use the United Methodist Curriculum, Rock Solid. It offers lectionary-based Christian learning through storytelling, drama, music, art, puzzles, and much more. Our Sunday morning program is designed to meet the needs of our elementary students. Children bring unique and wonderful gifts to the body of Christ, and they are a valued part of the congregation at Concord Trinity UMC. Programs for children are designed to be inviting, exciting, challenging, and creative as they encourage children to discover what it means to claim the Christian faith for their own!We strive to maintain a balance of opportunities for children to have learning and fellowship time with their peers, while encouraging their integration with the wider church congregation, as well. Each summer, we offer a rotation-style program that allows kids to rotate through a new learning center each week. They’ll experience and participate in cooking, role playing, storytelling, games, music, art, computers and much more as they are exposed to “hands-on” learning about Bible stories and what it means to extend their faith into the world. |
