Hello Concord Trinity Friends, 

​

It was announced in worship this morning that I have accepted an appointment as the new District Superintendent for the Southwest District of the Missouri Conference. After prayerful consideration, and getting over the initial shock of our Bishop’s offer, I accepted.  

​

This is quite an honor and I hope to do Concord Trinity proud, but I will miss you dearly. My time here was too short, but working together to get through the pandemic made me grow as a pastor. You made me better and this faith community will always hold a special place in my heart.  

​

Now that we’re post-pandemic, I hope you can feel the momentum here as much as I do. There are wonderful new things happening here that have made, and will continue to make, an impact on this little corner of South County. You are making a difference.  

My last Sunday isn’t determined yet, but I have confidence in our Bishop that he will appoint the appropriate person to be your new pastor, and hopefully we will know who that is soon. Their first Sunday will be July 2.

As I hand the baton off to the new pastor of CTUMC, please keep me and my family in your prayers, and the new pastor and their family in your prayers as well. And know that I will continually pray for Concord Trinity United Methodist Church.
