CONCORD TRINITY STAFF
Rev. Richard Northcutt is the lead pastor at Concord. He is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and has been in pastoral ministry for 20 years. Pastor Richard has served in the following appointments: senior pastor of First in Kirksville, pastor of Centenary in Bonne Terre; campus pastor of the Wesley Foundation at Truman State University; and associate pastor at New McKendree in Jackson. He has a master of divinity degree from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis. He also has a master of public relation's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He received his bachelor's degree in mass communication from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Prior to entering the ministry, Pastor Richard worked as a reporter for newspapers in Missouri and Mississippi. He also was an associate professor of journalism for eight years at colleges and universities in Missouri and Nebraska.
Pastor Richard and his wife Erin have been married for 32 years. Erin was a fourth grade teacher in the Kirksville Public Schools for eight years. Altogether, she has taught in elementary schools for 17 years. The Northcutts have two grown children. Both reside in St. Louis. Email Richard
As the Associate Pastor, Laura serves part-time overseeing discipleship and missions. She has a passion for helping people connect with Christ and with the world through their gifts and skills. She received her Master of Divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology and was ordained a deacon in 2002. Prior to joining Concord Trinity, Pastor Laura served in Kansas City and Wildwood, Missouri; working with children, youth, and adult discipleship ministries. Pastor Laura is married to Marty, a high school teacher and football coach. They have three children: Hannah (20), Sarah (20), and Joshua (18). Email Laura.
Director of Worship Arts
Lori Scott received her Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Arts from Drury University and her Master's in Music Education from the University of Kansas. Lori spent over thirty years in music education and is responsible at CTUMC for rehearsing the Chancel Choir, playing the organ and piano, scheduling and directing worship, and assisting with the Concert Series. She firmly believes in using the God-given talents of musicians, artists, and singers to enhance worship. Email Lori.
Kim is originally from Hannibal, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri at Rolla with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering and later earned college credits in early childhood education. Kim and her husband, Chris, have three children: Madeline, Jack, and David. Kim has a passion for sharing Christ with children and in partnering with parents and grandparents in guiding children to become life-long Christians. Kim is dedicated to offering the message of God’s never ending love to children in whatever avenue works best for them; whether that be the basketball court through Upward Basketball, LEGOs in the Sunday School classroom, or the worship pew on Sunday mornings. Katie was raised in Kirkwood, Missouri and currently lives in Imperial. She triple majored in Music, Theatre and Dance at Columbia College Chicago then continued to STLCC Meramec for a certificate in Digital Media with an emphasis in Photography. Katie has performed professionally for almost 20 years and has so much love for the many people she has had the pleasure to work with. She also has experience in customer service - which is less exciting to talk about, but still oh so important. Katie's goal in life is to bring joy to others and knows how powerful a simple smile can be. Katie and her husband, Michael, are proud parents of their daughter, Elsa.
