"The real defilement"
One year ago in March, the world changed overnight. A pandemic was declared, and we had no playbook of how to do life with a rapidly spreading virus. Large gatherings were prohibited, and we shifted to online connections. We tried to provide support and encouragement while social distancing. Our relationship with God was tested as we asked questions without answers and had to think about worship in new ways. As we begin offering in-person worship for the first time in a year, we wanted to highlight the families and ministry that kept us going this past year with photos from those who chose to participate. Life has changed. God is still good. WE are the Church, not the building, and we are resilient with God’s Spirit. God is doing a new thing and our community is listening to what God is calling us to be and do in this season. We remember that each one of us is “the church,” and we are sent into the world to offer hope through the love of Christ.
Ambassadors are volunteers who will help greet and assist worshipers during in-person services this spring. Please email email@example.com if interested in volunteering!
