The Spirit Who Awakens
May 4, 2025
The Holy Spirit awakens what is dead and dry and brings new life into hearts and communities. God brings Ezekiel to a valley of dry bones so that he can see what God wants to change. Awakening starts when we see the condition of our hearts through God's eyes. God’s question to Ezekiel—"Can these bones live?"—is His question to the church today. The wind of the Spirit still blows.
READ
Ezekiel 37:1-14, Acts 2:1-4
The hand of the Lord came upon me, and he brought me out by the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. The Lord led me all around them; there were very many lying in the valley, and they were very dry. He said to me, “Mortal, can these bones live?” I answered, “O Lord God, you know.”
